St Nicolas' in Pictures

Do you have any old photos or pictures which show what St Nicolas' Church looked like in the late-19th or early-20th centuries?

With the help of Stephen Price, local historian and co-author of Kings Norton : A History, we wish to build an archive of early photographs and paintings of St Nicolas', particularly of the interior. This is part of an ongoing project to understand the history of the building as we seek the best way to reorder it for the future.

We would like to hear from anyone who would be willing to lend us old prints or pictures of the church. The plan is to scan or photograph them, add them to the parish archive and, if permission is given, reproduce some of them on this website.

If you think you can help, please contact David Ash at this address.
